Nestled in the heart of the Coachella Valley, Rancho Mirage, which is situated between Palm Springs and Cathedral City to the west, and Palm Desert and Indian Wells to the east, gives you easy access to the best of the desert has to offer. The city was incorporated in 1973 from a merger of Mirage Cove with five unincorporated areas known as the "Cove communities" (Desert, Magnesia, Palmas, Tamarisk and Thunderbird). Other golf resorts include: Mission Hills, The Springs, Sunrise, Omni Resorts Rancho Las Palmas and Tamarisk to name a few. Another great resource for entertainment and accommodations is the Agua Caliente Casino and Hotel located at Bob Hope and Ramon road just off the I-10 freeway. Hours of fun await you at the 16-story hotel, spa and full casino facility.
